Onshore Proppant Testing:

PropTester^®, Inc. is on location representing a client company, typically an oil & gas operating company or service company, as an extension of its quality assurance program. Prior to proppant offloading, PropTester^®, Inc. will inspect field storage bins for potential contamination and cleanliness issues. We will administer and oversee the proppant offloading process according to manufacturer specifications, while collecting a representative API/ISO sample through the use of our QUAD^® Proppant Collection Service. PropTester^®, Inc. will then utilize one of its Mobile Field Laboratories to conduct a QuickChek™ analysis in order to report the initial results to our clients prior to the fracture stimulation. PropTester^®, Inc. can also collect samples manually according to API Recommended Practices from the conveyor to hopper during the fracture stimulation treatment. A full analysis of the sample will be compared against industry standards for quality and projected performance. The sample is retained at a PropTester^®, Inc. facility for one year in case further testing is required. Testing results become a permanent record in the client well file for future reference. Proppant transportation & delivery records are also recorded. All data is maintained centrally by PropTester^®, Inc. for future comparison or application, as needed.

Offshore Proppant Testing:

PropTester^®, Inc. is at the port during proppant offloading to inspect field storage bins for contaminates, oversee the proppant offloading discharge pressures, and to collect samples with its QUAD^® Proppant Collection Service. Samples can be tested on site with a Mobile Field Laboratory or tested at a PropTester^®, Inc. laboratory for complete analysis. PropTester^®, Inc. can also collect samples manually according to API Recommended Practices from the conveyor to hopper during the fracture stimulation treatment. A full analysis of the sample will be compared against industry standards for quality and projected performance.
